An automatic transmission is a multi-speed transmission used in motor vehicles that do not require any driver input to change gears under normal driving conditions. It typically includes a transmission, axle, and differential in one integrated assembly, thus technically becoming a transaxle. Among the various types of automatic gearboxes available in the industry, this workshop deals with the components, working, and technologies involved in the torque converter type of automatic transmission.

Conclusion
Automatic transmissions are becoming increasingly popular in modern cars due to their convenience for drivers. There are different types of automatic transmissions available. An automatic transmission is also known as self-shifting transmission or AT or dual pedal technology, as this system operates without a clutch pedal. It is a type of motor vehicle transmission that can automatically change gear ratios as the vehicle moves, eradicating the need to shift gears manually. The traditional automatic transmission is also known as torque converter automatic and it is the frequently used self-shifting technology across most vehicles. It uses a hydraulic fluid coupling or a torque converter to do the job of changing gears instead of a clutch. Engineering pursuing students passed out freshers can attend this workshop to learn the components, working, and related terms involved in the automatic power transmission of a self-propelled vehicle.
Engineering and polytechnic students/graduates from disciplines Mechanical, Automobile, Production, and allied disciplines are eligible to attend this workshop.
