Lubrication is the process or technique employed to reduce friction between (and wear of one or both), surfaces in close proximity and moving relative to each other, by interposing a substance called lubricant between them to carry or to help carry the load (power generated) between the opposing surfaces. In an Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), the lubrication system is vital in keeping the engine at its optimum operating temperature. In this webinar, students can learn the components involved and the system's working.
